THE PLACE

The Cave de Vignerons of Chusclan is located along the
right bank of the Rhône fifteen kilometres  from Châteauneuf du
Pape. Founded in 1937 in Chusclan Village there are now
one hundred wine producing members. Since 1993 they
have been engaged in the process of mapping and
studying the excellent potential of the Chusclan wine
region. Their belief is that once quality is right in the
vineyards people then become the driving force aided by
technical innovation. All work is done with this spirit of
excellence in mind.

THE WINES

L’Esprit des Teroirs is an exciting premium range of wines
launched in 1999 as a bid to rival the best wines produced in
the Rhône Valley. Around twenty different grape varieties
are grown. The main ones are Grenache Noir, Syrah,
Carignan, Cinsault and Mourvèdre for red and Grenache
Blanc, Clairette, Viognier and Roussanne for white.

This top quality range includes Les Ribières Chusclan
White. Highly recommended it exhibits lush pear and
peach fruitiness with a sumptuous depth of spice.
‘‘Les Genets’’ Chusclan has a remarkable brilliant cerise
colour with expressive layers of concentrated red berry
fruits and cedar.
Top of this premium quality is a very special wine called
‘‘Excellence’’ Chusclan. Richly satisfying and complex with
dried fruit and spice appeal.
Les Cigalières’’ Tavel Rosé is bone dry with tantalising
strawberry notes.
